# Why We Never Force a Child to Reconnect

Children are not obligated to forgive, hug, disclose or make contact on someone else’s timeline. Forcing any of these can deepen fear and loyalty conflicts.

Reunification therapy instead builds the conditions for connection: safety, accountability from the parent, and patience. Connection is invited, never demanded.
